Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A is a short-term illness caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV), often spread through contaminated food or water in areas with poor sanitation. Early immune response involves IgM antibodies, indicating recent infection. Later, IgG antibodies provide long-term protection, showing past infection and immunity.
